Upon checking the mail, I was pleased to find both my husband and I had received several reward vouchers as well as a free resort stay at Harrah’s Cherokee, NC for several days. I was frustrated and out of ideas when a simple trip to the mailbox was like receiving a message from God. Well, after looking at cruises, beach resorts, flights out of the country, and visiting family out of state, I decided none of those were viable options.
I struggled trying to find somewhere we could go that would not be too far to travel but gives us everything we expect and need while on vacation. My husband has been recovering from knee surgery and unfortunately for us his operation was performed during the time of year we often let loose and vacation for weeks at a time.
